The 1980s are colliding in an epic crossover that '80s kids could only dream of - the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are joining forces with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!
According to details revealed on the Dark Horse Comics website, the crossover will take place in a 4-issue comic miniseries. The story will see the Ninja Turtles - Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo - transported to the world of Eternia. It seems that when the alien mutagen from the Utrom race mixes with dark magic from the villain Skeletor, it creates a "nasty purple poison" that brings Eternia to the brink of chaos.
To save the day, the half-shell heroes team up with the powerful Masters of the Universe against Skeletor's evil forces. However, there's one big problem - the mighty He-Man is nowhere to be found!
The creative team includes writer Tim Seeley and artist Freddie Williams II.
Fans won't have to wait too long, as the 4-issue Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Masters of the Universe crossover miniseries is slated for release on September 25th, 2024.
