IDW's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Comic Series Announces New Regular Artist for 2025

IGN has exclusively revealed that Juan Ferreyra will join writer Jason Aaron as the new regular artist on IDW Publishing's flagship Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic series, beginning with issue 6 in January 2025..
This announcement comes in the wake of IDW's recent relaunch of the TMNT series. The previous run, which began in 2011, concluded at issue 150 earlier this year. The publisher then opted to restart the numbering with a new 1 to mark the beginning of a new era under writer Jason Aaron.
The current relaunch began with a rotating team of artists for issues 1 through 5. Preview artwork from issue 6 shows the turtles reuniting in the sewers, following their separation at the start of the relaunch. The interior art depicts some tension among the group, including a scene where Raphael appears to be in conflict with Michelangelo.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles issue 6 is scheduled for release on January 29, 2025. Currently, only issues 1 and 2 of the relaunched series have been published. You can check out our podcast breaking down those issues here.
