Hey TMNT fans! San Diego Comic-Con recently treated attendees to an electrifying panel for the upcoming movie, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem." Packed with exciting revelations and nostalgic nods.
The following info all came via Comic Book Resources Twitter.
The panel kicked off with a playful clip featuring the beloved turtles as action figures. Think Barbie Turtles crossover.
But that's not all; Seth Rogen and Ice Cube made a surprise appearance via a pre-recorded video, setting the stage for an exclusive sneak peek.
For an incredible twenty minutes, attendees were treated to thrilling footage of the turtles venturing into the city for some grocery shopping, followed by a wild night out watching "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" at the park.
The footage added an interesting meta touch by revealing that Splinter, the turtles' wise sensei, trained the turtles using old Jackie Chan movies and exercise tapes. For those who don't know, Jackie Chan himself plays Splinter in the movie.
In one scene, the turtles meet the iconic April O'Neill and take on a mission to reclaim her stolen scooter.
We can't forget the moment when Kevin Eastman, TMNT's co-creator, joined the panel. He expressed his gratitude to director Jeff Rowe for capturing the essence of the original underground comic style that he and Peter Laird pioneered.
To wrap up the panel in style, everyone donned turtle bandanas and took an epic selfie, cementing the camaraderie and infectious enthusiasm surrounding the movie.
